That Beehouse teapot that’s been collecting dust on the top shelf is a fine (and certainly less budget-taxing) Buono kettle alternative for wringing the best out of a V60.
No, you can’t put it on the stove but as a transfer/pouring pitcher it shines: 16oz. capacity, it’s ceramic — it’s highly amenable to pre-heating — and that spout lends a great deal of control over the pour. It’s certainly better than what I’ve been using, which is a stainless steel steam pitcher: thin walls and nothing to keep the heat from escaping out the top.
Until the wallet is full again, color me happy.
