Marco Arment is an iOS developer, famous for creating the wonderful Instapaper. He’s also a coffee connoisseur.
Iced coffee methods are hotly (see what I did there?) disputed: there’s the cold-brew method (much maligned but still one of my favorites), the Japanese method (seemingly overwhelmingly preferred but I’m not completely sold) and, well, that’s all that’s worth mentioning, really.
About the only thing I think Mr. Arment does wrong is to cool it down over a long period of time. I suspect that’s why he needs sugar. I might try the Aeropress as a tool for Japanese iced coffee and see what I come up with.
